Assaf and Shlomit Olshitsky, who will be the JLIC couple at Ariel University, are parents of eight children and were born in Israel. Assaf, from Petah Tikva, is a veteran educator with a master’s in counseling. He’s also a theater actor, personal trainer, and author of the book “Growing up with Them.” He lectures and performs educational plays and founded a playback theater unit that performed for soldiers.
Shlomit, from Beit El, is a nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit at Ma’aini Hashuah Hospital in Bnei Brak. She loves exploring the landscapes of Israel, including the Sea of Galilee and hiking trails. The family has been living in Ariel for several years.
